Sony has launched a new line of 11.6 inch VAIO Y series thin and light laptops. Keeping in line with existing Sony laptops, this machine too has an exorbitant price tag. It costs well over $1000. In Japan, at least. Sony isn't a new player in the thin and light space. The company has already launched some netbooks. These machines does have some premium features. They also command premium price
